Labradorite Candy Necklace 17 & 1/2 inches
It is said in the folklore of the Inuit peoples from the far north that labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis, (the Northern Lights.)
Having lived in Alaska and witnessed the Aurora Borealis in person, I can see exactly why that is; the stone's magical ethereal glow shines bright and captivates the mind and imagination, just like the amazing auroras do as they dance and move across the frozen black sky.
These beautifully faceted, top quality labradorite roundels, each approximately 7.5 x 3.5 mm in size, have been meticulously hand-knotted on a natural silk cord.
These are not your average run of the mill labradorite; they are top-notch with perfect facets and spectacular glowing blue, green, and gold fire. All metal used in the findings and lobster clasp is solid .925 sterling silver, as is my signature tag.
This necklace is 17.5 inches long.
